Recording:

Getting the best out of a recording session is always the objective but not always that simple. On an individual, one to one basis I provide support for vocalists who are recording. This varies but may include preparation and also attendance at the studio during recording.

Auditions:

We all audition at some point, be it for a band or a TV programme like Fame Academy or Pop Idol. I work with students to prepare them for auditions. This may include: choice of repertoire, what to expect, how to deal with nerves, the performance itself.

Additional services for existing students:

Recommended sources of backing track material.
Sourcing of sheet music and lyrics where available.
Assistance of composition and arrangement of songs.
Performance appraisals (from live gigs and public performances).

Group coaching:

I write and prepare custom designed programmes for groups of people which I deliver myself or supply under a licence agreement. These programmes often extend beyond vocal coaching and include audition preparation, music industry awareness, the basics of sound reproduction (microphones, PA systems etc).
