Where are you based?

I am based in Reading, Berkshire, RG6 and I coach from my home studio. This is very close to the University of Reading, The Royal Berkshire Hospital and about 5 minutes from junction 10 of the M4.

What days to you coach?

Currently coaching is available

• Mondays (9.30 to 6.00)
• Tuesdays (9.30 to 3.00)
• Wednesdays (9.30 to 3.00)

Please note that I do have a heavy schedule of regular clients during these hours so fitting everyone who wants lessons in is not possible! Though I wish it was!

How many sessions will I need?

Some people want regular coaching on an on-going basis for an indefinite time, for them we are in regular contact, on the phone and I give them support and appraisals at live gigs or work with them through vocal qualifications. Others want help in specific areas that may need a session a fortnight for a couple of months. For beginners we usually start with a 6 week course that can be followed on with further lessons if we decide we want to continue working together. So, in short the answer to this one is I don’t know, that depends on you.

How long is a session and much does it cost?

Standard hourly rate = £37.50
Advanced booking hourly rate = £33.75 *

*   Advance booking rate is for 6 or more lessons booked and paid for in advance.

What’s a performance appraisal?

I offer Performance Appraisals for singers and bands already out gigging. I observe a gig and report back on all aspects of a performance, from the quality of your vocals to your overall stage presence and performance. The results can be surprising since most often as performers we become fixated on a small issue that others don’t notice, whilst a larger more dominating problem may be ignored. I provide a truely honest and credible opinion which can make a real difference, if you are brave enough to listen! Cost £100.00 .

Can I buy lessons as a gift or a present for someone else?

Yes. If you want to make a gift of one lesson or a series of lessons give me a ring to discuss it. When you are happy that this is the right gift I can provide you with a personalised gift certificate for you to present.

Do you coach children?

Yes, I coach children from 11 years upwards on Monday afternoons. I have an enhanced CRB check and have worked extensively with young children at PGL Holiday camps and with pre-school children through my other pre-school music and dance business, MAD Academy.
